About the role:

Work Location: Abu Dhabi & Dubai, (Hybrid)

Reporting To: General Manager

In this role, you will be a founding member of the UAE team working as a trusted partner to drive and direct the delivery of strategic growth.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Builds a detailed understanding of consumer trends, market players, industry dynamics, competitive set and customer challenges across sports wearables categories in the UAE.
  2. Creates, manages and implements media/marketing plans, budgets and programs, both short and long term, to increase revenues, awareness, and expansion of products.
  3. Manages strategic direction and reporting on all marketing and pr related areas including but not limited to: Social Media, Websites, Digital, Email, Collateral, Press Releases and Media Engagements.
  4. Identifies outside agencies and responsible for development of agency strategy.
  5. Tracks and analyzes success of marketing campaigns and adjusts marketing strategies/budgets where needed based on performance metrics.
  6. Support all internal communication activities including, but not limited to, updates, press release writing, newsletters and drafting speeches for company executives and assisting with senior management interviews with relevant preparation material
  7. Oversees strategy, budget, and development of visual assets and arranges photo & video shoots as needed/appropriate.
  8. Identifies partnership and sponsorship opportunities for joint outreach.
  9. Prepares for and attends all strategic meetings, including weekly and/or monthly hotel team meetings

Objectives of this role:

  1. Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments
  2. Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration
  3. Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies
  4. Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics
  5. Partner with email, performance marketing and web teams to design, test and evolve lead nurturing tactics.
