About the role:
We are searching for a content specialist to handle blog content generation, content strategy, and website content management. In this role, you will be tasked with signing off on content, finding writers, managing projects, developing content plans, and write viral blog content.
To ensure success as a content specialist, you should have an eye for quality writing, be skilled at management, and be able to analyze long-form writing. You should be able to handle both the content and technical sides of running a successful blogging website.
Responsibilities:
- A dynamic role that involves writing and analysis of generated content over various channels especially SEO
- Developing new ideas for website content and help establish brand presence
- Developing and implementing linking strategies
- Strategising new plans and its execution
- Continuous Analysis of Web properties
- Ensure content marketing efforts are aligned with business goals
- Conduct keyword and SEO research, track and analyze content performance and suggest improvements
- Follow industry-related news and generate content marketing ideas around trending topics
- Write, Review and Update published content as needed
- Advice on content pieces and ideas needed for outreach efforts in various social media channels
- Explore more areas in the web to exploit and reach the desired content marketing goals
- Own the Ultrahuman newsletter that goes out week on week
Prerequisites:
- Any Bachelors degree
- 2-4 years of experience with a serious interest in content writing
- Wordpress experience is a must
- Excellent overall writing skills in a number of different styles/tones and fluent English speaking ability
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS language, web publishing
- High level of creativity as well as ability to use data-driven insights to write better material
- Deep interest in writing with a strong commitment to timelines, accuracy and professionalism
- Great Market research, organizational, and learning skills. Familiarity with keyword placement and other SEO best practices
- An understanding of formatting articles on the web
- Inclination towards health and fitness content is preferred
